PAWsome All Natural Dog Treats That You Can Whip Up At HomeMaking dog treats is actually pretty easy. If you have kids that like to help, it's also a great way to incorporate some math and even life skills, into a bonding session with them. Maybe best of all you know what you're giving your dogs, and they're going to love them! So let's make them a batch of these tasty and crunchy, all natural treats!
I wanted to make this as easy as possible for you all. Whether you're new to world of baking for your pups, or you've been doing it for awhile, this recipe is easy, and fairly quick. First, let's gather our ingredients!

Now that you have all of your ingredients, let's get to baking! Make sure you preheat your oven (325 for these treats.) Start by blending up your banana. I used my food processor, but you can use a blender too. Add in your peanut butter, and mix. Next add your oil and cinnamon. Stir well and add in the oats. When that's all mixed up, you're ready for the flour. The last ingredient you'll add is the water. Add in a teaspoon at a time. You want your dough to feel like moist clay.
Roll it into little balls, and then flatten them out in your hand. Place on a greased sheet, and set the timer for 25 to 35 minutes. It took my oven about 30 minutes to bake them to the crispiness level I wanted. (I like my dog's cookies to have a crunch because it helps to keep their teeth clean.)
I store a few out on my counter in their treat jar. Then I have a small container in the fridge that I use to refill the jar. I freeze the rest and replace in the fridge as needed. Remember, these treats are ALL natural, and there are NO preservatives, so they can get moldy if left out for more than a few days.
Sit back and watch your pooch enjoy the treats you made with love. They'll be the perfect addition to their Easter basket.
